Auto insurance in Arizona

Arizona requires every registered vehicle to carry liability coverage, and the state minimum is a long way below what a serious accident costs. We start from what you own and what you would have to replace, then compare carriers on the coverage that matters rather than on the headline premium alone.

What this coverage generally includes

  • Bodily injury and property damage liability
  • Uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage
  • Collision and comprehensive, including hail and theft
  • Medical payments
  • Roadside assistance and rental reimbursement, where offered
  • Multi-car and multi-policy arrangements

What we will ask you

  • Every vehicle, who drives it and roughly how far each year
  • Every licensed driver in the household, including teens
  • Whether any vehicle is financed or leased, and the lender
  • Your current coverage limits and deductibles, if you have a policy

Worth knowing

  • Arizona minimum limits are 25/50/15. They are a legal floor, not a recommendation.
  • Rideshare and delivery driving is usually excluded from a personal policy. Tell us if anyone does it, so we can quote the endorsement or a commercial policy.
  • A classic, collector or project car is better placed on a specialty policy with an agreed value.

Descriptions of coverage on this site are general summaries for information only. They are not an offer of insurance, not a contract, and not a guarantee of coverage or price. Only the policy issued by the insurance company determines what is covered. Coverage, availability, discounts and eligibility vary by carrier and by applicant and are subject to underwriting.
